Terms and Conditions

Overview

  1. This website is operated by Paws Hotel. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Paws Hotel, “Owner” refers to the owner of the pet or agent for the pet owner.

  2. These Terms and conditions apply to all users of the site and all services provided by Paws Hotel.

  3. Peak period including Victorian School holidays, all Victorian Public Holidays, Christmas Holiday period (19/12-08/01)

Boarding

  1. All pets must be aged 4 months or over.

  2. All pets must be fully vaccinated. Proof of current vaccination is required for check-in.

  3. All pets must be de-sexed.

  4. The Owner warrants that its pet is free of all diseases and illnesses.

  5. All pets are kept in individual rooms/cages.

  6. If multiple pets are brought in by the same family, they may be kept in the same room/cage.

  7. Flea and worm treatment is strongly recommended before arrival. If we found the pet has flea or worm, we may treat the pet for flea or worm, the owner will pay the additional cost.

  8. If the pet is not picked up after the checkout date, standard boarding rate will apply each night.

  9. Boarding rates are charged on a per-calendar-night basis and the owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding effective on the date the pet is checked in to Paws Hotel. If the pet’s stay is reduced during peak periods, the full booking amount is payable.

  10. Full payment of all the charges and fees for the whole booking duration is required before check in.

  11. Check in and checkouts are available during business hours, after hour service is subject to availability, extra charge may apply.

  12. If the pet is not picked up 14 days after the checkout date, the pet will be considered as an abandoned pet, Paws Hotel reserve the right to seek alternative home for the pet or surrender to the pound.

  13. Under no circumstances will Paws Hotel or its employees, be held responsible for injury, sickness, death, loss, or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether caused by any negligent, act or omission of Paws Hotel, its employees, that may occur to any pet staying at Paws Hotel.

  14. If the pet is on medication, we will endeavour to ensure that it is given the appropriate doses at appropriate times. We accept no responsibility for any liability in relation to the administration or lack of administration of medication to the pet.

  15. We will follow the instructions provided by the owner if their own food is provided.

  16. We will not be responsible for the quality and safety of the food provided by the owner.

Cancellation

  1. 50% of the full amount of the booking will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 7 days (14 days during peak period) of the check in date.

  2. 100% of the full amount of the booking will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 24 hours (7 days during peak period) of the check in date.

  3. Cancellation or changes in Paws Taxi service require at least 24 hours notice in advance, or full charge will apply. 

  4. Credit card payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund.

General Clauses

  1. Paws Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry of any pet.

  2. The owner agrees to pay all coasts and charges for special services requested or deemed necessary by Paws Hotel during the stay, including but not limited to vet fees, medical cost, travel fees and labour cost.

  3. Paws Hotel in their sole and absolute discretion may retain the services of a registered veterinary surgeon to attend to any pet requiring veterinary treatment. The resulting veterinary fees and additional charges shall be at the expense of the Owner who hereby agrees to indemnify Paws Hotel in respect of them.

  4. In the event where the pet become seriously ill, and the Owner cannot be contacted, the veterinary surgeon’s decision in relation to treatment of the animal shall be final and conclusive.

  5. Paws Hotel reserves the right to adjust/change the pet’s services to ensure the safety and welfare of all pets staying at Paws Hotel.

  6. The pet will be delivered to any person who is prepared to declare that they have the owners’ authority to do so unless otherwise instructed in writing.

  7. The Owner shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the Business property caused by the Owner or the pet.

  8. The Owner agrees to allow your pet to be photographed and/or filmed by Paws Hotel. Photographs and/or films may be used by Paws Hotel for promotional or advertising purposes.

  9. The Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given.

  10. The owner acknowledges by signing this contract they agree to the above terms and conditions.

Transport

  1. Pet transport is subject to availability.

  2. Quotation is valid for 24 hours after we sent.

  3. The owner must provide carrying cage that will prevent the pet from escape during transport.

  4. Transport booking time is indication only, we do not guarantee the time for pick up or drop off.

  5. The pet will be given to whoever claim to be the owner or the agent of the owner at the address, unless advised otherwise.
